Be patient

First...........read this article: http://onlinegooner.com/article.php?section=exclusive&id=2354.

It´s a good one with alot of crucial aspects of the Wenger era. I don´t think it´s that interesting that Wenger changed the Prenier League, that he changed the way footballers train and eat. I only care about Arsenal FC and beyond that I have all respect for Wenger and what he has done. Though is it a great achievement for Wenger but not necessary for Arsenal.

Otherwise I believe we must be patient. The Cescgate will go on every year until he finally goes. If it´s this year, the that follows or in two years doesen´t really mather. The rumours will not end until he goes, we just have to live with it. And the fact that Cesc will elave for Barca one day is something I have accepted for a long time. When he goes they will pay and we will find a replacement. Thats just the way it has to be.

A goodbye for Clichy is in its place. Thanks to him for his years with us, a true professional. He´s been a bit dodgy defensively so I don´t think it´s that a big loss.

Nasri, well badge-clapping, badge-kissing and so on doesn´t count for much when it comes to a salary from 90 k to 150 k. We have to dela with the fact that we can´t compete with the wages of Chelsea, City and United. That´s fine by me but we have to attract players in other ways then. Before it was giving young players time to play and still getting trophies. The last six years we havn´t done the last part which unfortunately doesn´t make Arsenal that attractive anymore. The way we play is good but i does not make the most shining stars to come. Pay or win, thats the deal. When Chelsea and United are doing both its getting difficult for us when we are doing neither.  I guess this is the matter with the whole Nasri-situation.

Back to the patient point. Wenger always plays his cards tight to his chest and even though the media goes nuts he won´t reveal his plans. An example: Yesterday the pics of him and Dein on vacation was poring out in media, a few hours later Arsenal.com published pics of him on the training ground. That was a public statement in disguise.

Finally....this blog has been written daily in swedish except for a "small" break recently. It will from now on be written again but not daily. Time, booze, children, house, work and such makes it hard.

Hope to see you on twitter.

Gunners!!!
